Dziękuję za świetny film ! Pasta bolognese is an Italian dish, which is now very common in Poland - in restaurants/fast food, especially as a dish in children menu. Combining savory and sweet is not that traditionally common, but a cranberry / red currant jam is known for ages as a side dish for meats, especially game. Polish panzerwaffles are not for everybody, you must have very strong teeth :) I recommend to break them in pieces. I like them very much, especially with something sweet, the best is honey- it matches this caraway and baked wheat flavor. BTW - the Dicky candy is made in my hometown :)

19:03 - It is somewhat common, maybe not in restaurants but in homecooking - in general it supposed to be somewhat like spaghetti bolognese but with different type of pasta. btw. in Poland when it comes to spaghetti we tend to use ground meat instead of meatballs and even if we use meatballs we tend to do them at least half of size of the American ones. Ps. The one from the ration might be a little bit more processed and with more preservatives than homecooked or even from good restaurants... to well preserve it for long time which also make it more similar to western versions where nowadays you don't care much about health but more for convenience and profit

"Cholibka" hearing that crunching sound makes me want to eat something myself... about dish -> "Makaron po bolońsku"... it's actually hard to say because in Poland this dish is more known as spaghetti where we use the same sauce and a different type of pasta... it's one of the simplest dishes to prepare which means it's not unfamiliar to a typical Pole. about snacks -> to be honest, in the case of many of them it is recommended to hold them lightly in the mouth so that they soak up some saliva, then both the crackers and the bar become softer. about drink -> no wonder "Owoce leśne" give you the feeling of compote, theoretically that's what their taste is all about.

One convenience for MREs. The drink pouch has a zip. You pour the right amount of water into it. You zip it up. You shake it to mix it well and dissolve the pellets. You open a small part of the zip for the straw that comes with it. Pasta Bolognese is a variation of spaghetti Bolognese. It is much easier to prepare and cheaper. Many people do not know how to prepare spaghetti properly, so they use other types of pasta. Fruit bars have unfortunately changed over time. The composition and the method of preparation. It makes them very hard. Cold weather only makes it worse. Sometimes it is worth putting them loosely in your pocket so that they soften slightly from our heat. Jam and spam. Despite the catchy name, this is a very bad combination.
13:20 maybe not like that, but a cheese sandwitch with some dżem or konfitura is pretty popular snack. Also there is a lot of sweet and sour or salty mixes in polish cuisine; ie. roast duck or geese served with cranberries.
