I know it kinda shows we have some complexes (which is true). But what you might not know is another thing. There's this saying "Gość w dom, Bóg w dom" - " Guest coming into house - God coming into house". It's very old, medieval tradition in Poland. And it is still very much in place. People will put themselves into debts just to make guest feel good. That's why you sometimes hear about famous Polish hospitality. It's part of a tradition and we are, indeed, very tradition-based culture.

I'm late but I think the case is that Poland's prices in złotys are equal to other countries' prices in euros/dollars, so when you convert it to dollars/euros it's 4 to 5 times cheaper. This way we're all gettin' screwed over but foreigners think we have it better.
@AviationNut6 жыл бұрын
We as Polish people think everything is to expensive. You could be selling a car that's worth $20,000 for $10,000 to a Polish person and we would still think it's to expansive and want to make a deal for even cheaper. LOL I remember here in the US going with my boss who is Polish also to a Dodge dealer because I wanted to buy a pickup truck and the truck I wanted was $36,500 and we haggled on the price and got it all the way down to $29,000 I wanted to take it but my boss said it's to much so we haggled for another 6 hours and we even walked out twice but they called us back and they finally agreed to $25,000 because the truck was brand new but it was a 2008 and it was already January 2009 and my boss knew the dealer wants to get rid of the previous year trucks so he kept lowering the price on them finally after 10 hours on negotiating we agreed on $22,400 and my boss still told me to not sign it unless they take another $400 dollars off I was getting really annoyed with my boss by that time but he said let's just walk out for the third time and as soon as we started getting up the dealer said okay to $22,000. I just couldn't believe it that my boss pulled that off if I was there alone I would have taken it for the $29,000 they offered. I was so lucky he came with me, I got a brand new Dodge ram 4x4 that was priced at $36,500 for $22,000, after everything was done the dealer came in with a sheet that they got the truck for from the manufacturer and it was $23,400 so the dealer lost $1,400 dollars on this deal. The dealer said it was the first time in their dealerships history they went that low on a price of a brand new vehicle and they never seen a more stubborn person then my boss. The salesman started laughing and asked my boss if he would be willing to go with him to a Toyota dealer because he wanted to get his wife a Toyota Camry, they exchanged numbers but the salesman never called. I am about to buy another truck at the beginning of next year and my boss is definitely coming with me, it's gone be round two. LOL

it´s cheap for foreginers but if they had same salary as you it woulden´t be like that, same thing in czech republic, our own country is expensive for us, and everything gets more expensive every year, but payments are the same as they were few years back.. that is fucking bullshit and foreginers here think even Prague is cheap, yet prices there are like 10x higher than normal prices.. year back was some crisis with milk, because of EU regulations, so butter and eggs prices got 2-3x higher, and since then it is still like that.. next year they want bread to be 2x more expensive, they say it´s because of hot summer, but it will again stay like that no matter what weather will be.. these are basic thingg.. and when people are complaining it is expensive, then some clever fucker will say that we czechs complain too much

We stayed at a remarkable almost medieval-style AirBnB for less than $60 a night and the host was very friendly that he even showed us around the city next morning as a free tour. The city itself is very lively and clean. You don't get the feeling of the clustered metropolitan. I would stay there weeks if I had the time. Though I wasn't there at the right time, I was told they have a lot of events on the river as well as celebrations throughout the year.

And people say whites have no culture lol. You come to the West not just to have a better life but to experience, their culture. Poland is just preserving their culture, and the rest of Europe is angry at them, but look at their countries, the culture destroyed. ❤🇵🇱

Poland is as nationalistic and preserves their culture like Asian countries and that's admirable.
