I know it kinda shows we have some complexes (which is true). But what you might not know is another thing. There's this saying "Gość w dom, Bóg w dom" - " Guest coming into house - God coming into house". It's very old, medieval tradition in Poland. And it is still very much in place. People will put themselves into debts just to make guest feel good. That's why you sometimes hear about famous Polish hospitality. It's part of a tradition and we are, indeed, very tradition-based culture.

@@mateuszniegowski9015 Its all the same all around Europe and world. Your comment is dead giveaway though Poles have complexes indeed: you see 'fuck ups' only within the borders of Poland. There is even more nationalistic organisations in Germany (thats a fact). Yet still no one referes to Germany as 'nationalistic' country.

Greetings from Poland. Poland is very beautifull country with beautifull landscape and this is true that we have cheap food. This pink/purple supe is called "chłodnik" made from beetroot. And I am happy that Poland won that competition. Next time you should visit Zakopane or Wrocław ^^.

Wroclaw or Breslau has German architecture and German atmosphere. Not your typical Polish city. The Poles reside there since 1945. I prefer truly Polish cities like mentioned by you Zakopane, but also Zamosc, Torun, Sandomierz, Poznan, Plock etc.

Have you actually been to Breslau? Its town planning and architecture is very German. Why? because it was German for 700 years before was transfer to Poland in 1945. I think you confuse Breslau with Lvov. So - who should learn the history mate?

who told ya that bullshit? "The Kingdom of Prussia annexed the town and most of Silesia during the War of the Austrian Succession in the 1740s. Habsburg empress Maria Theresa ceded the territory in the Treaty of Breslau in 1742. Austria attempted to recover Silesia with Wrocław during the Seven Years' War and the Battle of Breslau, but unsuccessfully." ofc yours history is proper ... :)

I'm late but I think the case is that Poland's prices in złotys are equal to other countries' prices in euros/dollars, so when you convert it to dollars/euros it's 4 to 5 times cheaper. This way we're all gettin' screwed over but foreigners think we have it better.
@AviationNut
@AviationNut 6 жыл бұрын
We as Polish people think everything is to expensive. You could be selling a car that's worth $20,000 for $10,000 to a Polish person and we would still think it's to expansive and want to make a deal for even cheaper. LOL I remember here in the US going with my boss who is Polish also to a Dodge dealer because I wanted to buy a pickup truck and the truck I wanted was $36,500 and we haggled on the price and got it all the way down to $29,000 I wanted to take it but my boss said it's to much so we haggled for another 6 hours and we even walked out twice but they called us back and they finally agreed to $25,000 because the truck was brand new but it was a 2008 and it was already January 2009 and my boss knew the dealer wants to get rid of the previous year trucks so he kept lowering the price on them finally after 10 hours on negotiating we agreed on $22,400 and my boss still told me to not sign it unless they take another $400 dollars off I was getting really annoyed with my boss by that time but he said let's just walk out for the third time and as soon as we started getting up the dealer said okay to $22,000. I just couldn't believe it that my boss pulled that off if I was there alone I would have taken it for the $29,000 they offered. I was so lucky he came with me, I got a brand new Dodge ram 4x4 that was priced at $36,500 for $22,000, after everything was done the dealer came in with a sheet that they got the truck for from the manufacturer and it was $23,400 so the dealer lost $1,400 dollars on this deal. The dealer said it was the first time in their dealerships history they went that low on a price of a brand new vehicle and they never seen a more stubborn person then my boss. The salesman started laughing and asked my boss if he would be willing to go with him to a Toyota dealer because he wanted to get his wife a Toyota Camry, they exchanged numbers but the salesman never called. I am about to buy another truck at the beginning of next year and my boss is definitely coming with me, it's gone be round two. LOL

it´s cheap for foreginers but if they had same salary as you it woulden´t be like that, same thing in czech republic, our own country is expensive for us, and everything gets more expensive every year, but payments are the same as they were few years back.. that is fucking bullshit and foreginers here think even Prague is cheap, yet prices there are like 10x higher than normal prices.. year back was some crisis with milk, because of EU regulations, so butter and eggs prices got 2-3x higher, and since then it is still like that.. next year they want bread to be 2x more expensive, they say it´s because of hot summer, but it will again stay like that no matter what weather will be.. these are basic thingg.. and when people are complaining it is expensive, then some clever fucker will say that we czechs complain too much

I went to Krakow about 5 years ago and absolutely loved the city and the people there. We stayed at a remarkable almost medieval-style AirBnB for less than $60 a night and the host was very friendly that he even showed us around the city next morning as a free tour. The city itself is very lively and clean. You don't get the feeling of the clustered metropolitan. I would stay there weeks if I had the time. Though I wasn't there at the right time, I was told they have a lot of events on the river as well as celebrations throughout the year.

As a person from Poland interested in Korean culture, I fell SO happy that tourists from other countries are delighted to stay in Poland ^ - ^ for the first time ,I hear that you can get free coffee on the train ,but this advice will be useful to me!

Thank you for a beautiful video about my city. We invite Koeans to visit Poland and Krakow. This film shows only a tiny part of what you can see in Krakow. You need at least 1 month to see all the sights in and around the city. There are also many smaller castles in the vicinity of Krakow, such as Pieskowa Skała or the summer residence of Polish kings in Niepołomice. It is also necessary to go 60m underground to the salt mine in Wieliczka. Best regards from Krakow.😘❤🧡💛💚💙

@@reallyboringindividual Zgadza się. Dlatego nie powinno razić, że dla Koreańczyka Kraków jest małym miastem. Wszak film nie jest o Japonii, tylko o wrażeniu Koreanek z Polski.
