Slovenia is the kryptonite of Poland. Main problem of Poland is their setter, unlike other teams like Slovenia ,can distributed the ball really well. Poland sets are predictable and easy to blocked. I was rooting for Poland to win but Slovenia is a better. They played as a team.

Vital is just too stubborn, throughout the whole tournament Kubiak has been really inefficient in attacks, and then you have Semeniuk who is spiking above the blocks of really tall players, where is the logic of having Kubiak in the starting 6. Semeniuk is just as good reception as him. I think Vital also needs to take a step back. However great match from Slovenia, pure determination.

Hopefully tomorrow will be last Heynen match as a Poland's coach. He is a Kubiak's hostage. Also he should change Leon when he was in the second line to improve receive. He did not do it even once for 4 sets.

Yup, agreed to all those points! Poland utterly failed in every tournament this year, except the least important one (VNL), where they at least made the finals. Such a deep and powerful roster(perhaps the strongest in the world) and Heinen managed to win absolutely nothing with that.

I think it is high time that Poland look into their team culture.. They have a very toxic and arrogant coach and team captain that cost them a number of important games.. How many times already have Kubiak almost incited a brawl.. Is he not ashamed that a lot of young Polish kids who see him as role model might emulate him? Poland as a team should know how to RESPECT their opponents as a person and in the game itself.

Slovenia were relatively unknown team couple years ago , by beating World no 2 Poland so consecutively is no small feat. No i Kubiak Michałek znów był kulą u nogi drużyny. Jak można być w tak tragicznej formie i pchać się do reprezentacji. Przykre ale stracił wszystko w moich oczach. Reprezentacja to nie prywatny folwark. Zabrakło mu charakteru. Dobrze że odejdzie Heynen to i grający za zasługi (kubiak) nie będzie już psuć jej jakości.

Ok what I saw, Poland has one of the best players in the world in a form of Leon,Kubiak, Kurek and Kochano.. But the problem with them is lack of consistency on passing specially on the later part of the game, when it's crunch time, their movement seems to be so stiff and they can't even defend an easy ball that has been slowed down by the block plus their defense on zone 5 is always missing. Sadly Poland's kryptonite is not the team that has the best spikers nor the tallest teams but their kryptonite are the teams that has a very consistent passing and mental toughness . In a form of France and Slovenia.
