This year I started reading Cassandra Clare's books I read all of the infernal devices all the mortal instruments the shadow hunter codex and a the moment I'm half way through tales from a shadow hunter acedemy I just bought the illustrated book of the characters and I can't wait to start reading lady midnight because it's such a bloody beautiful book 😁😁

Delightful Reads I haven't read it yet either. Only because Queen of Air and Darkness doesn't come out until December 2018 and everybody keeps saying how Lord of Shadows crushed them and I don't know if I can handle the torture of waiting for so long for another book after being crushed.

Adelina I sort of agree with you, but personally I loved acowar. I think the reason that a lot of people didnt like it as much is because everyone was expecting another book like ACOMAF, but the books in essence were completely different. ACOMAF is more about characters and their relationships, so of course we'd build more of a connection to it and just love it more. Acowar was entirely plot driven so I dont think the problem was that it isn't good but rather that it was more difficult to form connections to the characters. Although that's just my opinion, ACOMAF is still my favorite book after all 😂

If you haven't read the first two books of the Three Dark Crowns series, "Three Dark Crowns" (I mean, duh 😂) and "One Dark Throne," I DEFINITELY recommend them. It's kind of a whole new twist on fantasy, and it, uh, made me feel things. 😂😂 A lot of things. Also, I'm FINALLY getting around to reading the ACOTAR series, and so far, Feyre is my new Queen. (That's sort of a TDC joke there. Hehe. Oh God. Katharine. 😂 Sorry. No spoilers tho, of course.)

I had to read an excerpt from The Circle for my sophomore English class in college last year. It would not have been one that I would have picked up on my own because books like this don't normally interest me, so I thank my teacher for that. I really enjoyed it and the angle it seemed to be taking on technology and civilization but have yet to actually pick up the whole book. ... And my TBR just grew a ton

Christine! I started The Shadowhunter Chronicles... 3 days ago. I finished City of Bones earlier and I'm now reading City of Ashes and I own almost all the books and I'm binge-reading them as much as my life allows me to! AND I have them on my shelf in publication order, so when I finish one I just move on to the next! This year has been such a good book year. I reread all the Cassie Clare shadowhunters chronicles. Every book. Turtles all the way down. Lost stars and what Lou Reed taught me about love. All the bright places again. Letters to the lost. Fallen book 1. Throne of glass and crown of midnight. Eleanor and Park. I think there’s more. But yeah it’s been a good book year.

Caraval by Stephanie Garber 4. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell 5. To All the Boys I've Loved Before Trilogy by Jenny Han 6. Turtles All the Way Down by John Green 7. King's Cage by Victoria Aveyard Six of Crows was my absolute favorite read this year, the others just fall pretty equally behind it.
