While we still have people, including politicians, all over Europe who have turned a blind eye to the war in Ukraine then nothing is going to improve in terms of our preparedness. Most people, especially in Western and Southern Europe, see it has a distant and inconsequential war - many wanting nothing to do with it at all (disinformation has really worked on a lot of people in the West). People are still more interested in their phones, what's happening on social media and in showbiz, their summer at the beach, drinking, partying and spending their money on disposable rubbish rather than being aware of the potential trouble heading our way. Either a big 'wake-up' event will happen to break people out of their slumber or this continuous and insidious destabilisation and sabotage will continue to happen weakening our democracies and unity...and just dismissed as 'coincidence'.
