UPDATE: MS Nordstjernen will keep sailing - unlike mentioned in my videos, the ship will not stop operating soon, it will just stop sailing in arctic waters. It will be able to sail in other destinations in the future! This is based on information of the owner of the ship, Vestland Classic. So there is a chance to cruise with this wonderful ship for many more years, but if you want to sail with it to Svalbard, you still need to book fast!

you were able to get google maps up there? this vessel has no wifi receivers, correct? But wifi is available from Nasa's satellite? Did your iPhone hotspot work? Me and my 2 adult daughters are going on this same cruise in August 2023.
