Poor Hou chan but I find it funny. Brave cub like Hou chan is scared of just a board. Wonder if she overcomes this fear?

She certainly will. Because she is very wise and watches her mom always , trying to learn how to do with a strange thing. Nothing can beat her! Isn't she darling to hide herself and pop out her face from behind the rock wall every time Itchan, her mom , picks up the board.

@@darkprose Houchan is still a little girl, only 10 months old, and has a lot to learn, ahead of her. The board might be one of her tasks she must overcome to grow up.

Why is Hou-chan terrified of this board? She hates it.

I think it's probably because Hou-chan hates something unknown which is big and makes a big noise like a thunder. She doesn't know yet how to handle with it.

@@みち子丸山 I would have thought watching her mother interact with it would have reduced that fear response. And it isn’t much bigger than some of the toys they regularly play with. I wonder if the overall shape of the board has something to do with it.

@@darkprose The shape' of the board , yes, maybe, and the the thunder-like-noise as well,that the board makes out, when the mom moves it. Houchan will , sooner or later, get familiar with this strange object and overcome the fear. Just wait and see how she does.
