Polar Bear Rasputin Arrives at Yorkshire Wildlife Park

Rasputin the Polar Bear has arrived at his new home at Yorkshire Wildlife Park after his journey from Marineland Park Zoo in the South of France. He is now settling into his quarantine reserve before joining Nissan, Nobby, Pixel and Victor at Project Polar.

So looking forward to see the new boy on the block. We were lucky to meet your polar bears on a polar bear experience and had such a good time. Here's to seeing the 5th member of the gang.

:-( I don't understand why they've rehomed Rasputin as he only came earlier this year in Feb. They are rehoming Nissan & Pixel & Sadly Victor passed away in Aug(R.I.P) so that only leaves Nobby & the new polar bear Hamish. So why couldn't they have kept Rasputin?? Just think its a shame & not really fair on him that he's been on his own for years, he travels all the way to Yorkshire to supposidly be with the other bears only to be transferred before he even gets out of quarantine! Not fair for him at all, bless him. I really hope that where ever he's going next that he's not going to be kept on his own because he deserves so much better than that & its just such a shame that he couldnt remain here in Yorkshire & get to meet & live with the other bears Nobby & Hamish. I wish him all the best & hope he has safe travels to his new home & he settles in ok & has a happy life there, although he could have had that here.

they are rescued from hell holes that's why they have come to yorkshire wildlife park ,unless you know what you are talking about here's a suggestion shut up from a great admirer of the work they do
