I am so happy you made this video my friend. Back in 2004 me & my Mom searched 4 different stores to find this cereal because my teacher was going to let my class watch the movie.. we finally found it and bought 6 boxes! It was such a great cereal, an amazing movie & it holds such a near and dear memory to my heart. Thank you so much.

I was turning 22 when Polar Express was released. And 2 and half when BTTF came out. I do remember the Polar Express Cereal and not really caring for it. Or the game that was released with it.

Highly recommend watching the movie; It's a good take on Christmas. (The ending is a bit depressing tho.) I'm disappointed I didn't get to see it on TV this past Christmas but, then again I don't have cable.

I found the Polar Express movie super creepy because of the animation. I was forced to endure the entire thing and it feels like a borderline horror movie because the characters are dead eyed mannequins or something. Here's an article from someone smarter than me on why it's so difficult to watch. theforestscout.com/uncanny-christmas-polar-express-creeps/
@CerealTimeTV7 жыл бұрын
Oooh, that was a way better explanation than I could give for the strangeness of the animation technique. Yeah, I feel like I should give it a try, but it's gonna be tough to sit through.

I don't remember the site, but I found a Flash copy of that Polar Express game somewhere by googling. I just used the Wayback Machine to view the page and some images, but the game was downloaded/played somewhere else. I'm still searching for a flash version of the old Oreo O's game, but can't find one anywhere.

This movie has not aged well the mocap animation falls into the uncanny valley. Roger Rabbit was an Excellent Groundbreaking Masterpiece, Forrest Gump was Amazing, Back to the Future Was a Groundbreaking Spectacle, Death Becomes Her was Great. Here, The Polar Express feels like the beginning of Zemeckis’s Downward Spiral he has never made a good movie these days Welcome to Marwen was a Disaster, The Witches (2020) was a Forgettable Remake and quite a fitting year for how this movie was designed to be a 2020 disaster, The Walk was a Chore to sit through, So As A Christmas Carol with Jim Carrey, and Disney’s Autopilot Pinocchio Remake on Disney plus was an insulting Disaster and the last straw for Robert Zemeckis couldn’t he just retire now, and I believe and think the Last good movie he had directed was Cast Away and all that magic and sparkle of Zemeckis’s movies has been sadly washed up on shore. The Cereal looks interesting but the movie is not.
