Not the voice actress.] Peeps don't like her [Polar] because this is obviously focused on moneymaking over musical passion. She's a Metaverse idol whose design works off of the world's most famous virtual idol. She makes soulless pop music with generic lyrics that sounds good to be easily digestible, and graphics to keep your attention and be mesmerizing. If you don't know, the Metaverse is basically an attempt by Facebook to capitalize on the highly unregulated cryptocurrency market. It's just a paid version of what virtual reality is already accomplishing, rebranded. It also ties into NFTs. That's what this person is supporting. Environmental harm, unregulated capitalism rife with scams, ripping off others' work, et cetera. Not to mention Facebook's sins. I'd take any real-life pop artist over this money-grubbing shell with little to no humanity left.

The song “Good Girl” by Polar excruciated my ears, this was not the time..not yet. My pen swiftly moved on the paper, writing out the answers I’ve crafted from my brain. Although, the song Polar “made” many months ago struck my mind, I couldn’t concentrate. I felt as if my head was going to combust into little pieces, my eyes feeling as if they were going to get ripped apart from me alone imaging the visuals. I quivered, feeling my limbs twitching-remembering how Polar switched from an awful, preppy, “innocent” theme to horrid, try-hard wannabe rapping. The pen that has been splotching bunches of ink on the paper fell quietly onto the desk. My eyes widening, this was not the time.. I had a test to do..I don’t want to fail.. My hands were shaking as I stared at the sheet of paper lied there lifelessly on the desk, I hurriedly eyed at my classmates looking down towards their tests. I returned to my idle stance, the terrible song still repeatedly playing in my head. Everything hurt, everything the music video had was only there to torture me. Why were the instrumentals horrible? Even An’s and Akito’s cover of gimmexgimme is 10x better than whatever ‘effort’ was put into this- tragedy. The beats kept ringing in my head as I raised my arms to cradle my exploding head. ‘This is worse than migraines..’ I pondered, making my arms stronger in order to numb the pain. I hated it, I hated the rhythm, why couldn’t it stop.. I hate it … I hate it.. “Mikudayo,” a voice called in my mind, I stopped. Was that Hatsune Miku..? The queen of vocaloid? I remembered about Hatsune Miku, all the amazing songs made from the content creators. Mikudayo, the costume I would see everytime I worked at the nightshift. Despite her eerie nature and her haunting me, she wasn’t that bad after doing nightshifts multiple times and when I was playing “world is mine.” Gosh.. I should really focus, even Mikudayo had bad moments. Like that one time I witnessed her head fall down outside the pavement of 7 eleven.. but..! If she’s helping me to escape this pain, I’ll accept it and continue! I placed my arms down back onto the cold, smooth wooden desk. Clutching my pen to write answers, I stared at the screen. ‘10 minutes left..’ the screen said as it kept counting down. I sighed, but my lips widened, such a bittersweet smile. I’m grateful that Miku was here to comfort me-save me away from the erupting melody in my head. My favourite song played, Tondemo Wonders. Its goofy energy radiated inside my head to cleanse the remaining Polar memories that stubbornly clung inside. Now this was perfect.. my muscles that tensed up now calmed down. Writing on the thin paper sheet to finish my test that I’ve forgotten in the past few minutes… Heh, this was absolutely fucking terrifying. I didn’t notice the transparent, wet glands slip down my forehead as I had an awkward smile plastered on my face. I guess these memories will keep sticking with me until the end of time..

This song is the best thing I've jammed to. Ever. I was once a girl who dreamt of being a singer, but my insecurities blocked me. I can't even sing in front of people with confidence.
