Polar Plunge

I am working up in Utqiagvik, Alaska. When I first got here in May the Arctic was frozen solid. We actually walked out and it and took photos. It slowly started to melt, and around mid June enough had melted for us to jump in. The ice circled back to shore one day, so a few of us decided we needed to do it again. Believe it or not, it looks colder with the ice there, but it was actually .6 degrees warmer that day than the first time we did it. 31.5 deg f vs 30.9 deg f.
