Hey RCdogg thanks for your comment and watching my videos. I receive many products that I dont feel make the grade and I never shoot a video on them. This product is one that the viewer/consumer can decide whether or not they want to use it, I show them what is available and they choose. Not only does it show them how to install it but it gives them a good idea if it will fit their needs. Personally I think for the price it cleans up what would otherwise look like a hack job with a holesaw.

while just drilling the holes might do the same thing you're cutting down the integrity of the area. adding the plate will help restore the strength of the piece.

You can just drill the holes without using the fancy vendor provided aluminum plate. Please don't fall into a vendor only run where you add things because they send them to you. I like your videos because you install stuff that you need and find a use for.
