I did the same thing with my rs1. Running a X3 air to air with fan for Intercooler. Running 2860r turbo as well. The rs1 also has the turbo fuel pump already as well.

Doug my man, for the extended reach and a user friendly hack i took a square tube and welded an old Jackall - beam {one with all the holes} and then when i reach out i can put a cleavis through any one of the holes in the jack beam and the load won`t slide. ya gotta have an old jackall for a doner

Another thing i have done is take a couple of those old camper jacks with the 3 legs and that have a screw, can use the winch cable kind too, weld a piece of angle iron onto a pivot and then with on each side or end you have a hoist that was used to lift an 11ft camper to lift your quads, i actually used them for adjustable pipe welding and holding loads in place while welding, also for lifting sheds, when lifting a quad run a motorcycle ratchet strap under and hook to both jacks then secure together.

Once you do the swap Bolt a smart car chassis to the rs1 it is very close in size and should bolt up fairly easy to the frame and then it could be street legal kind of like how the Maverick side by sides with a Volkswagen Beetle chassis
