First time I noticed on you tube correct identification is done by polarity test . excellent share

Excellent video sir...this is is a very confusing and misunderstood concept which has been explained very clearly in this video. I dont think any other video has addressed the issue both mathematically and practically. Another video using the DC method would be really appreciated. Well done !

Can it affect if motor start rotating due to 230 volt supplied in single phase ,and how to avoid high current drawn by motor due to single phase supply , as resistance of motor is very low in milli ohm .

Regarding with the phasor diagram for your sketch, i had litle confusion on your sketch left side V should be not more than V1 Because the sum of vector is oppesite. And the right side on the your sketch V should be more than V1 Because the vector are adding. Your method testing should be matching with the transformer polarity check. Thanks

Megger is used to measure insulation condition of Motor and it is nothing to do with motor polarity test. If you want any technical help then email me at electricaldesifunda@gmail.com
