I feel like I didn’t get a closure. Yes, there’s happy ending but we don’t have a clear picture of what kind of couple Lisa and Dahlia are gonna be. We know only little about them individually so it makes it difficult to imagine their life together as partners navigating life through challenges like convincing Lisa’s mother, Lisa becoming part of Dahlia’s family, Dahlia reclaiming her position at her father’s industry while putting her bro-in-law in his place (not in a aggressive manner) and more importantly two women with different backgrounds, never in same-sex relationship, understanding each other’s shortcomings and accepting, facing the world together as proud same-sex couple. What would that look like? *we had that closure in “I can’t think straight”, Leyla getting a flat, Tala talking about kids and accepted as couple by Leyla’s family.

It’s not easy to draft a whole movie to cover such precise subjects. It’d be boring as hell. Also dramatic 🥱😵‍💫.. I’m hoping for something close to chapters online or snippets shown after or during credits or a short film (no-stretch).

Hello. I had watched all your representation movies and I really really love this as well, just like The World Unseen and I Can't Think Straight. There's just something about these that struck a chord in me. I keep coming back to them and watch them all over. The feelings are right on the spot even though there are no love scenes.
