I looked at loads of reviews for this item and it really annoyed me when people where like the photo came out terrible or it won’t work with my vintage camera it states those I-type films won’t work with them and not every photo will come out perfect but that’s part of the magic of Polaroids when it comes out well they are amazing

Part of the charm of the Polaroid is that it's _supposed_ to come out somewhat crappy, lol.

I didn’t know you could double tap flash to turn it off for all photos. It goes without saying but you forgot to also mention the I-type film in the video. You just say it can take 600.

Thanx for the review. I'm struggling to shoot with double exposure. I shoot 1 shot and I turned the camera off to shoot my second shot later and when I turned my camera on, the first shot was lost. Then I shoot again the 1 shot and didn't turn the camera off, but left it like that for more than 5 min, in order to shoot my second shot, and the camera turn itself off and my first shot was again lost :(. So, basically, I understand from my experience that both shots need to be taken one after another?! If so, it is disappointing, because it is limiting the amount of choices you can have for the second shot if it has to be imediately after the first one :( I've seen another Polaroid review (but not for the Now camera, different model, forgot exactly what type tho') where they said I thould shoot my first shot and turn the camera off without taking my figer off the shooting button. I donno if that should be the case for Now model, for double exposure to work. I am just very confused. I wonder if we can use this mode with 2 shoots taken at different times (longer than 5 min in between them) and if yes, how?

@SabinnaD According to Polaroid, here is how to shoot a double exposure: "Press the self-timer button twice to enable double exposure mode. The display will flash ‘1’ until the first shot is taken, then flash ‘2’ until the second shot is taken." They don't list a time limit between shots though.

Get a Holga camera. You can do as many exposures as you want no time limit.

I can't seem to find any info on what to do AFTER the photo is taken. Should I put it face down? If so, for how long? I haven't used a camera like this since before pre-school lmao
@abtelectronics
@abtelectronics Жыл бұрын
@x17chan Because Polaroid film is sensitive to light while it's processing it is best to place the photo face down on a table, or anywhere that will prevent light from hitting the film.

@abtelectronics

@AdrianaValentina-g9o The pictures are ejected through the slot on the front of the camera. When the film is gone you just open the back of the camera and remove the empty casing.

Every time I look one up to buy it I read that “This product can expose you to chemicals including Styrene, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer…” What are your thoughts on that?
@GioVortex
@GioVortex 2 жыл бұрын
Every single product that has plastic has that warning. Styrene is used to make plastic and it's required by law in the U.S. to put a cancer warning on anything plastic. It's not gonna give you cancer lol

My Polaroid instamatic Now photos are all off centre. A little research tells me the Viewfinder and lens are not aligned. Gives you something to be considering at all times. Not so much instant fun, as irritating. Anyone got a quick fix rule of thumb?
