Wow, that’s one crazy ND Filter, 10K! The images you captured during your trip to Lake Tahoe are stunning, that filter was perfect for those extremely bright conditions. Thank you for the real life testing in the snow, perfect for these conditions!

I'd like to see the histogram for this shot at prior to adj. f/2.8 seems a little narrow DOF, but that would depend on the height of your drone. I'd be thinking around f/5.6

Nice application for the 10K filter! Something about stopping water is beautiful💦. Do you get hassled very often just stopping on the side of a fairly busy road to get some pics?

Very difficult to tell from the video just how sharp those long exposure shots are. It sounded pretty windy at the location and I'd be surprised if the drone wasn't moving slightly just to combat the wind. So, was there any motion blur at all on any of those LE's? If you did manage to get sharp shots was it down to trial and error i.e. lot of misses before you eventually got a hit?

This filters are useable for freezing water with a lot of light. Of course you can stop down to more than f5.6 but you will not get that quality as till f5.6.

My thought as well. I don't have the M2P, but will the M2P adjust the exposure for the video feed when you're in photo mode? If not, I guess you would need a hood for the display in order to see anything from a non 1000 nit display.

The Mavic 2 has an aperture range from 2.8 to f11 and 2.8 will NOT give you the sharpest image. If you shoot at f8 you will get much sharper images and less light coming through the lens allowing longer exposures.
@thomasbednarowski16515 жыл бұрын
The mavic 2 pro is the sharpest at f5.6. Then its get softy

I'm baffled why you would use this filter when you can get a very good water blur effect just using ND32 and being able to FOCUS and See what your doing at the same time! Something you can't do with ND10K ! Pre Focus is not good...... ND32 / with 2sec Exposure works amazing TRY it
