When you think about it, that mod is incredibly ruthless and kinda evil. You harvest the souls of creatures from the world and feed the collected essence to a fire demon imprisoned in a furnace in order to infuse your equipment with it just for minor performance improvement. I think this mod would be so sick to add to a modpack where you can’t enchant your own tools with an enchantment table or anvil. Like you could enchant the books sure, but you need the ancient knowledge of a blaze to actually apply the spell to your equipment.

This is the type of thing that would cement someone as defacto ruler of a server. The ability to not only enchant on an industrial scale but OVER enchant is easily one of the most powerful abilities you could get in most modpacks

Hyper experience bottles could actually be useful for hunting people, it gives them the glowing effect, allowing you to easily see them through walls for a short time

It honestly baffles me why XP storing doesn't exist in Vanilla Minecraft, anyways it's a really cool mod! This will definitely be used in my own Create world!

I think they want to add a proper penalty to death. I don't add anything with XP storage in most of my modpacks, but I will be adding this to an Origins Factions server I'm making soon! My reasoning is that that server has another penalty to death, with the Factions mod- being killed by another player shrinks the claim power of your faction, which could potentially make your stuff- including your XP storage- quite vulnerable.

@@ovaldestiny007 that would be PERFECT for story driven smps if everyone isn’t connected about what’s happening at all times There could be a player just making a newspaper about the events that happened and delivering it or putting in on some train or system And if it isn’t used that much, then the player can start putting secret messages in the newspapers Or if everyone uses it, then something could happen to the player that makes the newspaper but no one catches it at first until they get unsettled by not receiving a newspaper

The Feather Falling is not actually necessary if you're wearing a full set of Protection V. Since all protection-based enchants cap out at a total of 80% damage reduction, and each Protection V provides 20% damage reduction, Feather Falling V has no more room to contribute its impressive 60% fall damage reduction. That being said, you'd still probably want to add it for everyday use, since it will kick in if you ever need to take off other armor pieces. With level 5 enchants, you could wear just the boots and still get the maximum 80% fall damage reduction.

I tend to take my armor except boots off when I'm just going to be puttering around my base and so I'm not expecting to fight mobs. I usually keep the feather falling boots on so I don't take a ton of damage if I'm building something.

I toyed around with this mod a lot, and the only thing I don't like about it is how once you set up enchanting, you now have all the best armor in the game immediately. I would have loved an alternative interpretation of this idea where getting specific echantments requires different machines, for example, maybe processing with blaze powder for fire resistance and flame enchantments, etc...

Like you have to provide catalysts to actually enchant, since right now you're only giving the blaze some _instructions_ without any materials besides XP? Maybe even booster recipes that use exotic catalysts to increase the level of existing enchantments

Now im wondering if Hyper Experience works with Quark Ancient Tomes to get even more OP tools lol UPDATE:IT WORKS! you just have to combine the enchant with the tome first then put the outcome in the Enchanting Guide and give that to the Blaze Burner so for example combine Unbreaking 3 with Unbreaking +1 Ancient Tome in an Anvil then you will get a Unbreaking 4 book now take that book and put it in the Enchanting Guide and put that Enchanting Guide in the Blaze Burner then pump Hyper Experience in the Blaze Burner and Enchant and there you go a Unbreaking 5 enchanted item of your choice

@@polartt tried it the Tomes on their own dont work in the Blaze Enchanter but if you combine the Tome with the corresponding book and then put THAT book in the Blaze Enchanter it'll work

this mod would be so cool to make an "enchanting factory" where you can choose which enchantments you want, funnels can automatically seperate armor, tools, etc. so you dont have to specify. you put the item in, select which enchantments you want, and a minute or 2 later, poof! enchanted item.

I'm torn on this mod. Great features, but I know a lot of people who grind to OP gear and kill the dragon, and then never rejoin the server. If this was for fabric (and players broke those habits), this would be great for a Create/Origins server. Some of those custom enchantments are hard to come by.

I wonder... You could turn this into an automated shop. You select Unbreaking 3, pay 10 diamonds, throw your sword in. Want Unbreaking 4? Well, that is going to be 32 diamonds.

For example, Impact on game: 10/10 - Dramatically alters the enchanting mechanics and increases the max level of most enchantments. You will not be competitive in PvP unless you use it. Complexity: 4/10 - Simple enough to learn if you already know Create stuff Balance: 3/10 Enchantments affect most mods and adding higher level enchantments could be considered power creep. Fun: Awesome visuals, awesome functionality, 7/10

The only actual powerful impact is prot 5, which i would say should be disabled on any server that cares about pvp and is using it. Just because of how broken and silly prot calculations work, prot 5 would basically half the damage you would take compared to prot 4, but stuff like sharp 6, power 6 and the other enchants wouldnt break balance too badly

This mod pairs really nicely with one of the couple mods out there that allow blazes to directly accept liquids as fuel. It makes it so the xp pipe doesn't have to be on the bottom, which can be a big pain sometimes.

@@jakeklic There is a very rare bug with skeleton knights where their helmet can spawn with two of the same enchantment, so there is an incredibly rare chance that a skeleton knight will spawn with protection 3 twice on a diamond helmet which they will rarely drop and can be upgraded with netherite.
