Are you sure she doesn't have makeup? It can be hard to tell how much product there is on someone's face especially when they use natural colors etc. Sure she's very beautiful anyway, I must admit I envy her.

Yeah me too, you always spot something new in re watching, the beautiful scenery of the Cornish coast and outdoor scenes contributed enormously to its success whereas the 1970s adaptation seemed theatre ish , loved the Cornish customs and culture it exposed.

Without a doubt POLDARK is beyond the moon with the audience in England, but it is also gigantic in the USA. Since there is nothing like it here. The entire writers community here appears to be cyber trending, but Poldark is so very well done in writing, props, realism, filming, ad infinitum. GREAT JOB, FROM DAY ONE! LOVE IT!

I had never seen this beautiful series. Only moments ago I watched episode 4. Oddly enough it has the scene when Demelza sings. There are no words. I'm a grown man and I sobbed like a child. She's remarkable and I hope her "mum" loves every note her lovely daughter creates ....nearly all a cappella!

I agree. I am wondering if it's possible the Bond producers have already got him set aside for taking over from Daniel Craig. Bond shouldn't bee too hugely famous. If the Bond producers have any sense left then they'd have figured out he's the perfect choice some time ago. I can't see any of the other potential candidates as Bond, but this guy not only looks perfect but he's a really good actor and even his more English style accents are spot on. I had no idea he was Irish after seeing a bit of Poldark.

I was kind of iffy about him playiing 007, but then I saw him in 'And Then There Were None', and I can definitely see him in that role.

When I was looking through all the possible candidates for taking over from Craig I hadn't heard of Turner, but thought he looked really good, better than any of the others for Bond, though was unsure as I didn't know if he could act well and saw that he was Irish so he may have a thick Irish accent. Then I eventually checked out a bit of Poldark and was like, THAT is the next 007. He's perfect. Great actor, strong screen presence and finesse, amazing ability at more English accents and really chameleon-esque in his roles. He really becomes his roles rather than just seeming to be himself in every role like many actors do. He also has a bit of a resemblance to a young Sean Connery with a bit of Pierce Brosnan and I could see him playing Bond with elements of all the greats but also bringing his own subtle panache to the part. The other candidates like Hiddleston and so on look weak, skinny and wrong for the part in comparison now. Hiddleston could make a good Bond villain/henchman though, for sure!
