Thank you for this sensitive review. My father, Charles Danvers, wrote the music. It was originally titled “Priére Sans Espoir”. It was recorded and originally sung by the famous French artist Lucien Lupi. It was later published by Chappell Music and was first introduced in the USA by the talented pianist Roger Williams and, then Percy Faith and his Orchestra in 1957. English lyrics were written by the celebrated Carl Sigman and first performed by the Angels in 1961. Till was recognized globally and sung in many countries. Over the years, many wonderful artists recorded and sung Till such as Sir Ton Jones, Jerry Vale, Shirley Bassey, The Vogues, The Letterman, Andy Williams, and many many more interpretations. But, this group, Forestella, is truly amazing in the way they magically express the true nature of the melody and how they harmonize on key parts. The arrangement is perfect, resulting in an angelic performance. Bravo! Thank you again for expressing your feelings and sentiments for this eternal song, TILL. Sincerely, J.M. Danvers.

The original is an American serenade from the 50s and has been covered countless times. Including by Tom Jones and Patti Kim, a Korean legend (the lady in whose honor this show was held). The version by FORESTELLA is an incredibly touching performance, a feast for the senses.
