Nice with a more detailed noise-measurement! Please make sure to have mic-mount with a shock absorber to ensure low-frequency vibrations from the mount do not skew the result. Measuring right next to your ear is a good practice to have a result that is meaningful :)

My P3 is the same configuration (plus leather) and I have the same Nokians mounted to the stock 22" wheels. Your results align to mine in relatively similar conditions and speeds. However, I do get ever so slightly better consumption and that's with the Calix (Volvo branded) roofbox on it. I am running the tires at max pressure, so that probably offsets things a little. But yeah, in general, your results seem to align with what I've seen as well.

If I nomalize 313Wh/km at 120km/h and -7 degrees Celsius to 10 degrees Celsius and 110km/h I arrive at 217Wh/km which is in line with other testing of this car. Therefore I advocate normalizing the tested values to a fixed temperature and speed so you can better compare.

6000km in less than a month, great car! Some bugs, but nothing deal breaking. Volvo/Polestar needed more time to bake the software properly, it will get fixed by OTA in time. Love to drive it :)

If it’s going to be your only car. Don’t do it you will loose most of the value in depreciation. No one buys used electric. Be careful!

Cela change ÉNORMÉMENT la consommation et l’efficience de n’importe quel véhicule électrique… (penser à préconditionner ou recharger avant le départ ce qui chauffe la batterie)..!

As it is a 400V platfrom with 625A max current, you would be better off going to a high amperage charger like a Tesla Supercharger, instead of for example Ionity which is capped at 500A 👍 Perhaps not a limitation in this test with the cold battery, but god to keep in mind for road trips

Going to love to see how the new Audi A6 e-tron performs in this test when you eventually get your hands on one. Ideally test a AWD version, because what's the point of an Audi that isn't a quattro?

Hi Kris, thanks for the tests! Did you lower the front windows by a couple of mm (lightest touch on the window switch)? Our P3P is considerably quieter when we do so, the window gasket appears stretched when windows are fully closed. This is a problem other owners also report on.

I drive an eqe suv for work here in norway (im a taxi driver). And now in winter times i drive with the curtain for the sun roof closed at all times, because it feels like an cold breez down my neck. That’s why I love my PHEV. When the conditions are bad the best is using hybrid mode. The overall consumption is always better than in full EV

I am curious on how the consumption is better with a hybrid? You a are still burning fuel which, for me, is much more expensive to drive the same distance compared to a full EV. I dont know which PHEV you drive but they need service much more often at a higher price since its actually two types of drive trains in one car. I save approx. 330USD from not buying fuel each month since I switched to my Tesla. No service for the last three years.

My xc60 Volvo diesel does 1000km on a tank of diesel at these speeds and conditions. It has 22 inch wheels too.

No it does not! That's a pure lie. Spreading misinformation is a direct violation of the commenting guidelines here on the channel, and can get you banned. You''ll find the guidelines in the description. Futhermore, you XC60 diesel not only sound like a tractor, but is slow like a tractor. It is also a lot smaller than this PS3. So you are comparing apples and oranges. Your diesel SUV also harms the environment much more than an EV, especially if you live in Norway where 98% of electricity comes from renewable energy. Lastly, a diesel engine is about 30% as efficient as en EV. So yeah, you're loosing at everything.

I had a Volvo V90 cc B4 Diesel as a company car, and that car told me it would go about 1150 km on a full tank. Whether or not it actually would I don't know. But checking alot of forums and many people experience about the same range with Volvo diesels.

@ I did not refute any statement and I only said that I get 1000km out of a 70l tank driving long distances on motorways often at night in subzero temperatures, we don’t get snow so I don’t know if that makes a difference. You'd be lucky to 1,1l/100km in an XC60 diesel at 120kph in the dry at 0c. So getting 500km is realistic in these conditions, which if half of your claim. Sure better, but not close to what you said.
