I was also a bit worried about the Amber side marker. Polestar did it amazing. Just a small bit of the overall light is Amber. The look is still exactly the same, but just about 1/8th of it is Amber near the front of the light cover is Amber in the corner

Both the Volvo and Polestar sourced Nappa leather is so soft, that it wrinkles very easily. I have the same crease in the seat on both my Polestar 2 and Volvo V90. Leather conditioner helps, but only so much.

I see no point in getting Lidar; what I want is an infrared camera with the screen displayed in the instrument screen, like the Taycan has. When you're in heavy fog (day or night) or driving at night (period), having a wide-field infrared camera can be life-saving.

Beautiful car, I think Polestar have the most modern design language. Don’t think anyone who can afford an expensive car should have a tax credit, these funds should be allocated to encourage EVs for the masses.

Hi Kyle, Nice review. I watched the reveal back in 2022 October. This combination is my favorite as well, but I will go with the long range, with the same wheels and interior, fully spec. Lidar is also an option here.

Even though I absolutely LOVE the Taycan GTS, I'm pretty sure this will be our first EV. We drove a Polestar 2 a few weeks ago and were impressed which put the 3 at the top of our EV SUV list (Even above the Macan EV.) The Polestar 3 seems to check all the boxes and if it is built as well as a Volvo and the Polestar 2 we drove, I think they have a winner. Ours will be the midnight blue with black wool interior. The Taycan GTS will have to be the second EV in the garage. Lol.

I have a R1T scheduled for delivery next year, this will give me time to see where Rivian is headed before I make the decision to either keep my reservation or cancel it in favor of the Polestar 3. I like the design of the this vehicle a lot. Hopefully they can improve on the range before the vehicle is released.

It wasn't a Polestar 3. The first one has not hit the streets yet and won't until probably next year. There may be a few out later in the year for media testing but none are on the roads now.

Kyle, im not sure ive ever seen you this excited about an EV. you were sort of giddy even, while sitting in the drivers seat! wouldn't be surprised to see one of these in your drive way in a year or two. thanks for the review. this car is pretty expensive, but with 107kwh it should get great range. If it doesn't, that would be disappointing, but just looking at the car, it looks pretty aero, so i'd be surprised if it couldn't hit 300 miles. But its going to be heavy too.

Looks really nice! Efficiency seems relatively low. 300 miles on 107 kwh pack. Hopefully the charging curve is outstanding with that large of a pack.

That is a euro spec, the american versions will have a reflector were the transparant plastic is, that's why it's there - they felt it was unessecary with two diffrent QP for the different markets.

I love the car, hate the pricing. in the UK the monthly lease is more or less the same like iX, Taycan, eTron GT. I know the last two are different segments, but STILL, I can't imagine anyone who would like to replace Taycan with P3. I think it will be all about options and final price but I wasn't expecting doubling the P2 price and not getting perks like third row (which is not available to avoid cannibalising EX90)

The EPA efficiency is with AC charging losses. Otherwise, with that efficiency, the non-performance version would only get about 257 miles, but it's rated at 300.

in norway after this new year, introduced a weight tax of NOK 12.5 per kilogram of the car's own weight over 500 kg. The one-off fee will be in addition to any VAT - if it is an electric car that costs more than NOK 500,000.

Stunning car, inside and out. Really, properly desirable. Wipes any Tesla out in terms of showroom appeal (and I'm no Tesla hater) so I hope Tesla has a response soon to cars like this and the Lyriq or they will become the Kaiser/Frazer of the 2020s. When everyone can use Superchargers, what advantage does Tesla have - efficiency perhaps.

28F at the EA EV chargers in Baker Ca and again in Mojave Ca. Polestars at each location charging too. Our EV6 took the 23% to 100% charge successfully and way faster than the Polestars. Jus' sayin. Nice looking cars.

7:30 I am surprised how the prices are different! In the UK the launch edition EX90 Ultra cost 96 and 100k (normal/performance) and P3 80k and 85k respectively. So like I was expecting the Volvo is clearly more expensive choice but you get third row and even more safety. I am surprised to hear that P3 is more expensive in NA.

Hi Kyle, All the way from Denmark, Bo´s here 😊 I’m an Engineer and also quite interested in EV (driving a PS2 for the moment) and have just been watching your videos with FreeWire chargers - I’m double in this, at one hand a bit “bulky” setup, but at the other hand really smart re real smart and super-fast installation, not requiring a lot of powerful grid nearby. Actually I wrote to their CEO just to heard a bit more about the system, he properly wont answer me, maybe one of his employees will 😊 Have I understood it correctly if this are the case: A FreeWire (fully charged 160 kW) are being “emptied” by 2 cars with 77 kW battery (approx. 75 min) whereafter a 3 car comes in, when he’ll only get what the grid can give (let´s say between 27-37 kW) and if car´s keep coming in continuously, the 160 kW (internal batt.) will never be filled-up and all the incoming cars, will more or less get between 27 - 37 Kw (if that´s the power from the grid, that the charger has been installed with) ? Sorry for asking “stupid” questions, just wandering 😉 Thanks for a great channel, and cool that you like to go “flat-out” at Autobahn, I do love to do that too 😊 BR Bo

I have a Polestar2 and can listen to all the radio stations in the UK (assume DAB). Don't know if that helps.
