A great video, lovely landscape shots especially of the Sahara! I live in Botswana and between 2007 and 2011 visited Algeria four times. But that meant flying Gaborone - Johannesburg - London - Algiers since at the time the only flight between Joburg and North Africa was to Cairo. But now, thanks to your video, I can now fly direct from Joburg to Algiers and save some cash! I have been waiting to visit Algeria again and now have a valid excuse to do so! Cannot wait to see the desert again and also perhaps to travel in the mountains in the north of the country. The meal service on your flight looked great and I can testify to that having flown on Air Algeria's domestic routes eight times. Cabin staff always friendly and polite. Keep up the good work!

Сахара, конечно, с борта самолёта смотрится впечатляюще. Как и вся Африка. Это вы ещё не видели рек Конго, Лимпопо, и Оранжевой. Что и неудивительно, так как вы прилетели в Йоханнесбург ночью. Думаю их вы увидите, когда полетите в Викторию-Фоллс. Кроме Конго, конечно. Зимбабве-локация очень интересная, так как самолёты туда летают редко. Хотя в Хараре тоже неплохой международный аэропорт. 1. Авиатор, это нормальное явление: тащить в салон самолёта столько "ручной клади", как тащила барышня перед вами на посадке? Пустой самолёт позволил её разместить там без хлопот, но был бы полным? 2. Судя по курткам, в Алжире также прохладно как в Европе и море не особо влияет на погоду? 3. Аэропорт Йоханнесбурга показался мне пустым. Потому что позднее время суток или есть иные причины? Спасибо за обзор. Впервые увидел пустыню Сахару и понял одно: лучше всего смотреть на неё с борта самолёта. Пейзажи пустыни не добавляют оптимизма.

Бывает, что пассажиры берут с собой очень много вещей в самолет, некоторые авиакомпании закрывают на это глаза. В Алжире было холодно. Утром, когда мы прилетели из Питера, было всего 6 градусов. В аэропорту Йоханнесбурга всегда многолюдно, я сам очень удивился отсутствию пассажиров на границе, в прошлый раз там была огромная очередь. Видимо на такое время попали. Хотя суда по расписанию, в это же время прилетали рейсы из Мапуто и Лусаки.

I didn’t check any luggage, but I took a small suitcase and a backpack with me as my carry-on. The size and weight of carry-on bags was not controlled anywhere.
