Very nice Maurizio. Our club is looking to replace our modern F1 Scalextric class with something a bit better performing and these look to be perfect for that.

There's a lot of engineering thought and consideration and configurable option parameters gone into this and so the thing should properly be callled the Monoposto Mk II (Roman numerals) to clearly best mark or make this point. I needed to change the stock tyres on my old orange one to get it to run well on Carrera track and yes, the front and rear wings were a faff but this thing looks like it will scream speed and good handling characteristics out of the box? Dafinitely one for club racing afficionados . The challenge will be how well it compares with NSR and Scaleauto offerings? We'll all find out early next year.

When will the motor spacer be available? I had to adjust the pinion on the motor shaft to get a good gear mesh on my conversion to the flat six motor mount!

I hope this version is better than the first. I recently bought a blue version of the early model and I have to say it is not a pleasant car to own. Attaching the rear wing I managed to break it. Bad luck! The mounting on the front wing looks better also. I look forward to the new version, I have 3 on order at electric dreams.

Nice to see a screw holding the front wing on because my earlier F1 model the wing keeps falling off really easily with those tiny plastic clips, so i dont run the car anymore because it got really annoying. I am looking forward to purchasing one of these new models and trying them out ,Greetings from latvia...Harry

Very good video Maurizio! I was curious about the new car when I saw the preview from Pendle Slot last week. Thank you for explaining the new features and comparison between the older version. I was wondering why you have a new pinion with a sleeve in the Policar website. I didn't realize it was for the new F1. II have a few Classic F1 and was impressed how well they handle. My best time so far is 6.5 on Electric Dreams wood track. It handles better than my Slotit GrpC. Hahaha. Hope to see you next year again at Electric Dreams for your Slotit GrpC Nationals! By the way, when we spoke last year, you mentioned a new GrpC Jaguar XJR14. What ever became of it? I was hoping it would be available for this years Nationals. Also, how does the Flat6 motor compare to the slim can? Does it affect the handling? Will the new cat be offered in a white kit? Thanks 😊

The XJR14 is obviously a car that we are looking to make in the future - but no timeline yet. Next is the Gr.C 767B and it will be ready in time for the Nationals (fingers cross of course)! The Flat-6 is much more powerful, has more torque, and more magnetic traction - it is also heavier. For all these reasons it is bettter suited to a bigger model such as the new Monoposto.
