Police Arrest Black Rookie Cop. Then This Happens.

Mango Park Police Sgt. Mike Green and Sgt. Lasko are patrolling the town when they spot a female motorist and decide to pull her over. They begin to question her and are surprised by her knowledge of the law. As it turns out, the driver is a recent graduate of the police academy. Sergeants Green and Lasko picked the wrong motorist to harass and must now decide how to get out of this awkward situation.

This happened to us for real! We had only been living here for eight days when we were stopped for a dirty tag, leaving the cemetery after laying our baby to rest. My wife hadn't changed over her driver's license so our tag and her license didn't match. I had mine changed because I had to take care of the relocation business when we got here while my wife stayed at the hospital with our daughter. Our daughter's health took a turn for the worse our third days living here so our focus was on her but the cop wasn't trying to hear it. She was nasty and said that my wife was using our dying child as an excuse to avoid getting her license changed. She held us there for almost an hour even after we told her that we had to get to the repast. She was suspended without pay for thirty days.

This needs to happen every day, but needs to happen in the situations that backups are working. When you see an officer step out of line, good officers need to act to protect the reputation of the profession. There is only one way that bad cops are going to be removed and that is when officers start holding each other ACCOUNTABLE for their episodes of infringement upon individual rights. Until Police become serious about protecting the reputation of their profession as a FIRST DUTY, the reputation of ALL officers will suffer.

Yes, there are cops like this, and with that being said if she jumped out of the car like that, she probably would have went straight to the ground. In some states, cities and counties, just Passing the Academy, and passing the state exam, doesn’t mean you’re a cop…. Until you get hired. I give the cop an F, and the lady a B+….. don’t get smart with a rogue cop, they pulled you over to find something, and they’ll find it. Don’t tell a cop you know the law better than they do, especially right out of the Academy. Get a dash camera that records front and back with audio.
