Michael is sitting on a bench waiting for the bus when he is approached by Officer Kyle Jacobs. The officer asks him what he is doing in the area, as the bus stop is on the other side of the mall. Michael explains to the officer that he is blind and not familiar with the area. When he sees Michael's cane, Officer Jacobs immediately mistakes it for a weapon. He calls for backup and detains Michael despite his objections. Then when the Sheriff arrives on the scene, Officer Jacobs is forced to defend his bad behavior.

At least this story has a better ending than the one in real life that happened in Florida where Mr. Hodges, who was walking down the street and is legally blind, was taken to jail after being arrested for having his folding cane in his back pocket. The arresting officers thought the cane was a gun. The last I heard on this case was that Mr. Hodges got an attorney and filed a lawsuit against the officers involved and the department.

He did play a Uber driver in one video and told a racist Karen to get out of his car and the Karen obviously acted like she did nothing wrong

Police did not ask for ID or show the cane as inspected. I think this policeman had never experienced blind people before. Human being error.
