I feel terribly sad for the meritorious candidates that have been denied jobs, they must have gone abroad leaving their families or settled for less deserving jobs in the private sector. Terrible injustice to our youth

There is an easiest way to catch all the people who are involved in taking and paying money for jobs :" just check the bank accounts of all the family members of people who got Govt jobs recently via their PAN and do the enquiry".

Impossible to uncover all those who took this short cut, practically everyone came through some vasta, at least the drama is raising the awareness of disengaged employees in govt. CM has an opportunity to at least stop this rot from festering further through staff service commission and ensuring its effectiveness, and implementing performance culture.

This rot goes back more than 40 yrs, politicians in early years used to promise jobs to voters if they served the politician for years free of cost, in later years it graduated to cash, am surprised to see opposition doing a rip van winkle, staff who pay bribes r disengaged employees from day one, they exist in private org also and r managed out every year, roughly 20% of the bottom performers, in govt performance is not managed.
