As a Police Officer, I know for a fact he would not have been able to do this “not” in shape. You could put a person who is an athlete in his shoes and they would start to break down. You could do better in 86 degree weather, while wearing almost 50 pounds of gear in a polyester uniform, not even being able to swing your arms because you have a shotgun in your hands at ready, all while constantly updating the stream of events with dispatch and yelling at the top of your lungs to warn people to get away, or at the shooter to stop? All while navigating the acoustic maze of an outdoor mall where you wouldn’t even be 100% sure where the shots were coming from until you were almost on top of the guy, and could easily lose precious response time by running the wrong way? Damn. You must be a badass. That or a clueless keyboard warrior.
