Police Chase of Stolen SUV Ends in Laguna Beach

LAGUNA BEACH, CA - Late Saturday evening NBC 4 LA and Gabe Santos provided excellent live aerial coverage of a pursuit of an SUV seen speeding through surface streets and highways in Westminster, Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Santa Ana, Irvine, Laguna Niguel, Dana Point and Laguna Beach.
The Westminster police department confirmed that the vehicle was stolen. Garden Grove and Laguna Beach officers took the female driver into custody after eventually coming to a stop on Pacific Coast Highway in front of Providence Mission Hospital in Laguna Beach.
The circumstances of the police pursuit are currently under investigation.
