No, but we have the Special Operations Command, which can be said to be like the PDRM Federal Reserve Unit and the Pasukan Gerakan Khas combined. The SOC is SPF's SWAT regiment, set up on 10 September 1992 to consolidate specialist armed units into a single regiment that SPF can call upon for any major operations. It has units that perform major public order and domestic security duties, such as hostage rescue, riot control, counterterrorism, and apprehending and neutralising armed and dangerous criminals. How is the SPF going to address the allegations of racial discrimination and workplace bullying by Uvaraja Gopal? Is the investigation going to be transparent? Are people involved (colleague, supervisor, department head, minister, etc) going to be punished? I have friends who were from the SPF with similar claims of abuse. Many highly derogatory remarks used to insult the minorities are "Malay pig" and "untouchable". I believe they were used as insult to the Malay and Indian race respectively. There are also allegations of bias when considering for promotion and workplace abuse. If the allegations are true, how can Singaporeans, especially the minorities, feel safe in police presence? How can they be sure the SPF officer is fair when dealing with police call and without prejudice. Can the SPF publish statistics of arrest base on race and how many of the arrests were made by officer from the other race? If there is a correlation between officer from one race arresting people from the other races, then the allegations might have substance. There must be an open investigation and have new policies to protect minorities against racial discrimination and abuse. No justice, no peace.
