I'm a 71yo Veteran and retired Pilot. I went to Mardi Gras once and it was a BLAST. It was during an NBAA Convention and what a great time I had. I was up on one of the balconies and was tossing the beads. Enjoyed it all and never got in trouble.

My buddy was drunk during Mardi Gras 1995, throwing up on Bourbon St. An NOPD cop came up behind him and asked how he was doing, and Chuck reacted by punching the cop. So the cop handcuffed him and Chuck said he deserved to go to jail. The cop said, "Let's not jump to any conclusions, chere. How much cash do you have in your wallet?" Chuck said about $200. "Funny, that's the going rate for getting out of handcuffs, and you can just pay me right here." Worked out great for Chuck, because it would have cost over a grand for drunk and disorderly, battery on a LEO, etc. NOPD, baby!

🫣 Im in this first episode at 11:25 in my yellow jacket walking with all my closest friends. I remember we were standing right there when the girl spit in the bouncers mouth (he actually put his hand over her face and kind of pushed her away, so when he dropped his hand she spit. It went right in his mouth 😂😂) We were all underage and drunk; we wanted nothing to do with the cops, especially cops with a camera crew! Lots of online streaming sites have all the old shows, every season. There are some free ones too but i can't put the links. Have a search.

Thanks for mentioning. @@Crow_Friend A lot of the old episodes floating around online are the 20 min syndicated versions, and a handful are not online at all. I am hoping to archive as much of the show as possible in as close to as it originally aired as possible. So i'm hoping to find someone who recorded the episodes off of TV when they originally aired.
