It was worse in the 70s. We just didn't have news channels reporting it every day. We're slowly creeping back up to those record-breaking years, although 54 percent of gun related deaths today are suicide so We're actually still pretty low when it comes to gun related murders. It's all over the news now so it just seems like it's getting worse than it used to be but numbers are still down compared to the 70s and 90s

Yes we do need our gun rights way more than people realize
