She probably didn’t take her own life but even if on the chance she did, was he remorseful and did he ask for forgiveness for his part in abusing her? Or did he just blame her for everything? He decided to stay married with someone who was accusing him of being abusive even though he was not? Or is he a lying narcissistic psychopath that is justifying to himself horrific actions and lies? Is he the type of preacher who believes divorce is a sin regardless of circumstances? There is no way a loving God would want anyone to stay in an abusive relationship. Only ABUSERS believe that divorce is not acceptable under any circumstances.

The woman called in herself to 911 stating we intended to commit suicide and wanted to know if law enforcement could locate her by her phone in the park. Prior to arriving at the park they have footage of her purchasing a firearm at a pawn shop. Additionally the husband, who she was separated from, was out of town with his location confirmed by cameras and presumably cell data.

When a woman wants to divorce her husband because of domestic abuse, and her husband happens to be a pastor, and she winds up dead, more than likely the husband was the killer. Being a pastor one has to discipline themselves above all others, be an example for others to follow. That spiritual discipline is often challenged, many raise to that challenge and overcome those tests, and many others fall in that discipline that’s been challenged. When the violence of domestic abuse starts, the discipline is no longer there or ignored, there’s no willingness by one’s choice to conduct oneself to honor God. And when the discipline of faith is ignored then Satan has a doorway, a wide ‘entry way’ to influence deadly activities of those who lead in churches. And Satan knows and is banking on to destroy the head, the many others will fall as well. Let’s hope the pastors didn’t do it, but if he did, he’s in more trouble than human beings can ever imagine and understand considering his wife was a Christian.
