Words cannot explain the sadness I feel today. This young man Sgt. Christopher Fitzgerald gave his life to protect this city. This just makes no sense at all. I pray for the family of Sgt. What's sickening to me is how these criminal misfits don't care about anything but themselves. And this particular misfit grew up privileged in the suburbs but felt the need to come into the city to commit this heinous crime. And then he had the luxury of being able to call his mommy to come pick him up after murdering a police officer in cold blood. My deepest condolences to the family. They do not deserve this grief.

You know these criminals need to understand that this isn't a game, when you kill someone you can't reset, it's over. I retired as a cop from Philly after 25 years service. I fled the city with my family due to the rampant murders and violence that has plagued that once great city because I knew it was so bad I could not protect them 24/7 from the incredible amount of complete mayhem that is allowed by a city DA & Mayor that seem on anyones radar to be purposely allowing these criminals to thrive & flourish. I have buried friends, colleagues & neighbors thanks to the filth that runs the city's goverment.
