I get what you are saying and I agree with you but the real issue is that its very hard to be respectful and cooperative when those same people have treated you like shit and you have a chip on your shoulder from that treatment. Let me tell you a story. I am from Jamaica and back in the day I was a reserve soldier and worked as a Clerk of Court at the family court. Now , wearing cammo is actually illegal in Jamaica if you are not military. one monday evening I was coming from work and was accosted by a police patrol. They drove the same old US army jeeps. Buddy jumped out , grabbed me by the back of my cammo fatigues and said take this fucking thing off. When i tried to tell him that I had training that weekend and was coming from work because I didn't have time to change he simply used a knife to rip my Jacket and then emptied my pockets on the ground . He then tried to kick y legs out from under me and because he failed he butted me with his AR 18. Now, the thing is we sometimes had joint police military patrols so it wasn't hard to find out which patrol did this and my CO arranged for us to patrol with two military jeeps and one cop jeep. You of course can imagine their surprise when we confronted them in one of the many lonely back streets and explained that we were going to have a chat with the one who fcked with me. To be honest we didn't actually do anything but for years I had a massive chip on my shoulder against every cop I met even though I had to interact with many cops on a daily basis. I wont lie, I massacred them in court at every opportunity and only lost that hatred long after I left the family court and migrated.

My dude, your cooperation made this traffic stop go as smoothly as it did. Im a former cop as well. Best believe all of those cops, including the brother was shook like hell and extremely concerned about you having access to a loaded firearm on your chest. They were strategic and played it cool but best believe, they were shook. All that laughing and Rambo statements was to keep you easy and cool. Considering the recent shootings and terror to the public incidents, you my friend handled yourself well. Your ability to remain cool, kept them cool. If you would've ran your mouth, or moved your hands from that steering wheel, they would've relied upon their training. Glad you're good!!!

Comply with master or master will rely on training? Cops have guns and shake people everyday. We are living in fear from the one's who are to make sure our right to own and use our guns is upheld. This was a comply or die situation? A guy traveling with his property? This was a pure thug video where those "cops" chose their safety over that of the trust they are obligated to serve.

No one is questioning when officers do a good job, we’re wondering why you ignore the same interaction when officers are at fault? You literally don’t even respond to those situations. I feel like a part of why the cops treated him so well has to do with how he chose to handle himself in the situation. He went above and beyond to make the officers feel comfortable (which is something he's not required to do of course). Keeping in mind the fact that the officers are ppl too, its easy to put urself in their shoes and realize that it would be quite scary to pull someone over who has a gun on they're chest (remember they have no idea who he is and he could pull the gun and get a shot off in a split seconds).

@@hall0341 As someone who is the first one to point the finger at the police... I disagree. He had a lot of firearms and specifically told him that he had multiple (some fully automatic) firearms in the trunk. At that point, for officer and civilian safety, backup should be called. That is also when a search is likely reasonable, because they would need to locate every firearm in the vehicle and see documentation for each. I feel these cops did their job well.
