You know what i keep on wishing to see? Dancehall unites. I mean, the music industry is endless. So there's a portion for every man and more. Look how the American artists get along; almost everyone collaborates with each other. Sometimes all 5-6 artists involved in one song. I am a Mavado fan, and I hope the day I could see him and Didi do a collab. I wish if him and Kartel could do at least one more collab. If there was unity in dancehall, the genre would have reached new heights already. That's why no matter how we choose to view it, Reggae will never die. When i saw Govanna ran out on stage, I don't know why I was somehow anticipating Didi to appear to sing his part. But I do like what Masicka, and even Jashii have been doing, by trying to unify dancehall. And it's really encouraging to see a young artist like Jashii has that motive, and i hope that the other younger artists can follow suit to change the division in dancehall. People are singing about who have more money, who have more guns, who have more girls, telling one another about their mother, etc etc etc. That's not music, that's garbage. How can you who have a mother, diss another mother? We need a change in the concept and mentality for dancehall music, both with the artists and supporters. The standards have dropped a lot.
