Pretty stupid cops who didn't even look at the fact that Mom was returning from a trip and was not in town when the son disappeared.

What a completely unbelievable and ridiculous story. A woman, far away from home on a three days business trip, filled with presentations and also likely business dinners, is suspected of murdering her child during this period. Try to rise the quality of the stories, please

Wait, she was away, and the grandmother said the dad took him, so why did she still get arrested? If anything, the grandmother should've been arrested.

Why didnt the woman hire her own lawyer and prove she was at a business presentation in another state ? There must have been plane tickets and clear evidence of her business meetings and hotel stay. Utterly ridiculous that the police could arrest her and jail her without any body ? And how did the police assume the child was murdered without a body or ebidence ??? Absolute BS.

Lots of major holes in this story. Also, did they analyze the blood? He supposedly was unharmed so who's blood was it? And why immediately arrest the mom? Questioning the mom at the station is okay, but arresting is a violation of her rights! This story was written from a different country than the US. She would be able to sue the police for false arrest. They had NO actual evidence on her! The Law is innocent until proven guilty. A significant corner stone of US Law!!!

This is not a real story!! One Michael was alive on Wed. as seen at soccer practice and by his grandmother while the OP was away on business. So how could she have killed anyone if she was not even there and he was seen alive after she left? It doesn't make sense. If her employment knew she was away on an assignment for them, then why didn't they say so. And evidence that the OP was away, plane tickets, hotel reservations, credit card slips on food, etc. police never checked alibi? Instead they condemned her straight out without knowing the truth behind this very false accusations!! I would ask the grandmother and this Adam guy more about where they were and what they were doing when Michael disappeared. And nanny on why she let the kid go with the ex unsupervised? If Adam is the father of Michael and the grandmother might know more than she is telling? She may even be involved? No one is above suspicion until they are cleared!!! Then it could be conspiracy. Maybe they want to set the OP up, so she is convicted of murder and sent to prison. Then conveniently Adam and Emily moved out of state, sell their house, and everything else and then Michael miraculously reappears unharmed. But because there in another state and have probably changed their identities, no one would know. And the OP will rot in prison for a crime she didn't commit!!!! But a good defense lawyer would pick up immediately on these discrepancies about the OP not being in the area at the he time of the so called " alleged murder" ( do the police even have the body of Michael or just a blood stain which could mean anything.) Are the police making an assumption that Michael was " allegedly killed"? It was never said. Is their any physical evidence that directly links the OP to the "alleged murder"? What type of weapon was used? Are their fingerprints or anything linking it to the possession of the OP? Any credible witness besides nana dearest who saw the OP leave before Michael disappeared? Did the police even investigate the statement the witness made about being away on business? ( like check the hotel, her employment, plane tickets, etc. witnesses who saw her in that city during the alleged crime? Either the police are very incompetent or they just want an arrest for a crime which may not even been verified on happening at all?!!! Then we have defamation, slander and libel by the newspapers who already had her labelled as an "alleged child killer" before the crime was even being investigated? A leak from the police would have to be suspected to justify their actions before any of the real facts are in!! Then of course everyone starts to put their 2 cents in about every little thing that they could not pick about or didn't agree with to get their moment of having their faces in the news!!! All of this is not only circumstanal, but this case against the OP also has more holes in it than swiss cheese!! When this hits the fan, and all of these a holes who falsely accused the OP of a crime that probably didn't even happen, will be taking that bug out of their a*sea and the shoe out of their mouths and everyone of them including those idiot keystone coppers will be eating crow!! Can bet you that when they find the OP innocent, the police will not even apologise to her!!!! Hope she sues the newspapers for defamation, slander, libel, etc. and the police of professional misconduct and malfeasance!!! They just convicted her and was ready to throw away the keys, considering that all this was done and no investigation had even started, but they saw her "guilty before being proved innocent!! When it is actually" innocent before being proved guilty!!" But she finally was able to prove her innocence hopefully!!

Stupid stoʻry, one phone call to her cmployers would have proved she was far away, and have a rock solid alibi! Plus the grandmother had said he was with his father ( also where did the father get the childs blood from to soak the clothes for the DNA tests and how did they have the kids DNA on record? ) Plus who released the photos to the press?

A bitter story: Adam and Emily KIDNAP young Michael from Rebecca's (his mother - now divorced from Adam) home, and create a FALSE situation depicting Michael as having been MURDERED by Rebecca. Grandmother Helen provides little effective assistance. But - security cameras end up saving the situation - and Adam and Emily are arrested.

*I suddenly remembered my mother, who once risked her life to protect me from a terrible situation. It is true that maternal love is an unbreakable force, even when faced with the greatest injustice. Guys, take a moment to reflect: Who is the person who always stands by you, even when the whole world turns its back? And do you cherish them enough? Answer that question with me. I am from U.S*

Why was OP arrested and not the person who was watching the child? Why no investigation of the father? Also, the company sent her of the business trip and knew where she was the entire time, so how could they not know her alibi? "The detective's intuition, honed over 30 years, seemed to have grasped something." The last time the child was seen he was either in the custody of his grandmother or his father. Is that what you grasped?

DNA test that quick really? Proof she was out of town quick and easy. She goes over everything a million times with the mom and nothing about a visit about the dad, but the dad comes and the grandma is ok with it. What evidence? This was poorly written. No looking for the dad asap. They can get all kinds of video footage of the ex traveling but none of her in the hotel out of town. Everyone giving false testimonies.
@kathyesmith75722 күн бұрын
First thing provide evidence of being out of town....where is the body.....why is the father not the first suspect
@ronnieq97063 күн бұрын
First of all, all they had to do was contact the airport, the hotel, and the taxi service to verify her alibi. In addition, she was on a work related trip where she conducted various presentations for her job. Any one of those sources could have verified her alibi. This was not a good story for that reason.
