@@Grizz270 you've had ample time since Rodney King, Trayvon Martin and Erik Garner to step up and become a _(good)_ police officer or prosecutor or defense attorney in the fight against injustice. Yet we both know you haven't. See how easy it is to point a finger?! Truth is, we've all been complicit to different extents... but many of us are *finally* speaking up and doing something! I don't think anyone would shame you for not applauding these officers; but you shouldn't be shaming them for speaking up and demanding justice for George Floyd. Yep yep yep, I love to see cops with a heart and understanding.we need them , and they need us to respect them and that is what we want to do, respect them,we need more police Folks like these guys, more connection with the people the more save you will feel because you know the people you are protecting or arresting, you wouldn't have to use so much force, both sides will have respect, look I showed some respect to a officer last week , just talking to him in 711, I usually never speak to a police officer, we just talked about life you know, well the other day I didn't stop at the stop sign because it was late and no cars on the street I felt it's no need to stop, well them lights came on and the cop got to the window,I said quickly just give me the ticket, looked up it was that cop, he noticed it was me,he told that other window cop to pipe down,he said to me why you didn't stop at the stop sign man,I said you can give me the ticket you right,he gave me a warning and I usually would try to fuss with him saying I stopped and all that but I didn't, and I didn't have to ,I think because of the 3 minutes we talked in the 711 line made him feel like he knows me, and it made me feel comfortable because I felt like I knew him, and it was the best police stop I ever had, made me say to myself all police men aren't bad, there some good ones around, and we the community need to support the good cops, give them awards and fame,we have to show we appreciate there service.👍👏

@Mike James hate to break it too you, but there are good cops that are pressured to back they're fellow officers, and will lose their jobs, or worse the misguided trust of their fellow officers! You can't be a police officer by yourself, you have to have backup! Their culture, like many others, needs to be changed. They need to be able to trust that they will have backup of "good" officers that hold themselves accountable for their own actions. And not be held liable for speaking out against travesties! Mark Lowry breathing out does not mean breathing in buddy . When a cop hears “I can’t breathe” ten times over while a light choke hold is being used the person saying that is always lying . Now , when you kneel on someone’s throat for 10 minutes and they stop talking , that’s obvious that you have just stopped their breathing . Floyd wasn’t talking in the last few minutes , which means he wasn’t breathing out AND IN. Your Wikipedia copypasta has nothing to do with the situation . Cops using chokeholds is perfectly fine , you can choke someone to the point they can’t breathe , but there’s also a way to choke someone into unconsciousness without impairing their breathing functionality.

True that Marilyn...I saw a movie recently called "Black and Blue" about police corruption. OMG!!! I was heartbroken the way that stuff went down. I think it was so unsettling because I know that stuff happens for real. I hope and pray that the officers who want to stand for what's right won't be intimidated by those who don't.

I agree with you... I am watching the video and it’s hard to understanding 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 even after the paramedics arrived they didn’t stop 🛑 why ????? This is disgusting and now the little girl will have to face the world without knowing how cruel human are and without her Dad... as a mother of a black son I cry 😢 I am crying 😭 for myself for being Black and live in America with fear 😢

Actually it was the paramedic that finally got him to get off of George. Yes, it did take a full minute... but the EMT had no way of knowing what transpired before he arrived at the scene. My heart bleeds for George, but we march, we protest and we WILL persevere. That little girl will grow up knowing that her dad inspired a movement which brought real change! #BlackLivesMatter

The so called Officer who kneeled on Mr Flyod’s neck till his death is a monster in the name of all the wonderful Police Personal in the entire USA and the three others who hindered Public to interfere and help Flyod not to be suffocated to death are no more less. All these four needs to be put behind bars for their life time. The people of USA should further support the good Police Personal to carry out their hard duties to protect and safeguard its citizens....

We defiantly need good police officers like these guys, im proud of them for speaking out, more of the good ones should speak out. police should respect the constitution and the constitutional rights of citizens, always. And guys, study the bill of rights, so that you know the rights of citizens, and don't take advantage when citizens don't know they're rights.

We sincerely appreciate and need these officers in our communities! Thank you for calling out police brutality. Please continue to identify and hold accountable the corrupt amongst you. Don't allow the dishonorable to hide behind the honorable. Police defunding and reform wouldn't be a topic of discussion if corruption wasn't allowed to exist. Stand in solidarity nationwide and purge the bad seeds hiding behind the badge #WeStandWithYou

@parkinlot6167 I don't understand your statement. Why admit that there are good cops and say I wish they had spoken out 5 or 6 dead black men ago. First, it sounds like you want to blame them for the deaths as if they can control what these demon police are doing on the street. Second, why do you just say black men? NOONE should be killed by these bad cops. I think all of this extra talk is deliberately distracting us from the fact that a police reform bill needs to be passed. Lets not take our attention off of that focusing on things likes we should be angry at ALL the cops and the selfish attitude of harping on JUST black men. Question: Has the Police Reform been passed yet? Let's talk about that. I think THEN we'll be closer to a solution to stopping the BAD police out there.

More of this but when it matters- in the moment, call your teammates out, calm them down if needed or consider an agreed upon primed phrase or word to give to fellow officers who seem to be losing their perspective during situations with civilians. We can fix this. Thanks for speaking out!

Confettifun: You are absolutely unequivocally correct, there’s the policeman’s code you’re expected to work and live by, it’s up to the good ones to take a stand as one with documentation and proof and take to your senators or go outside your city. Send to NY Times, it can be done, think outside the box

Thank you for speaking out! This gives me hope that all cops are not bad. I admire you all for coming out and speaking against this murder that was done to George Floyd. This type of thing happens too often and until laws are changed and the bad police are held accountable I am afraid this will never end. But I honestly can say, I feel something different this time. I have NEVER heard police speak out like this ever before! Please don't stop and be the change you want to see and continue calling out these bad people. God bless you and keep you!
