I'm not really sure what your problem is. When you said they "targeted this car" that is true of every single car they ever pull over. They don't stand there , eyes closed and at random intervals stick an arm out to signify the next vehicle is to be checked. Unlike some countries, UK police do not need any kind of reason or suspicion to pull over any car and check details of driver, and any other information associated with legal road use. Being wealthy and having an expensive car, does not make a person exempt, and having foreign registered car means insurance can't be verified without pulling the car over, as it can with UK registered cars. Therefore common sense would suggest that foreign plated cars are more likely to be pulled and checked, it's simply logical.

Just because you have more money than sense that doesn't exclude you from the Law in England. Why don't you hire or buy an aerodrome and give all some piece. If you have a house in London you should obey our laws. Who the hell do you think you are to question the Police about this incident which is bugger all to do with you.

In 2024 I don’t think anyone would risk bringing a car without valid paperwork/insurance etc…, especially if it’s a brand new car like this 812 GTS where the owner has a passion for supercars and comes regularly. I’m not saying it can’t happen but with these type of owners it’s silly to assume they would come over without the correct insurance. Uninsured overseas vehicles was something that used to happen back in 2016

Nice one hopefully your purchase goes smoothly. I would say shop around for insurance before getting the car. If you’re young you may need to find a insurance broker. That’s the advise I can give you as of now.

It’s not targeted, they know these people don’t insure their cars on UK roads so guess what happens to the average Joe when they get crashed into by one of these idiots? They don’t get a payout from their insurance.
