I concur. It’s truly hilarious watching three grown men in full toddler mode filling their nappies over being video recorded - after literally walking up to a man on a public pavement, and attempting to obtain his personal details, and limit his rights to do a perfectly lawful activity. The obvious limitations of their own rights in this situation and how lamentably wrong they in their assumptions, are perfectly matched by the limits of their understanding of the law and the photographer’s rights. They are as comical as they are sad, and their irrational fears and ludicrous imagined threats are the product of something deeply disturbing. And the mental gymnastics being performed by that lower middle management type could provide sufficient material for an entire doctorate thesis. Hi N A, yet again some fool comes over to you and tells you that you must have permission to film from a place that has public access, the fact that the property in privately owned has no relevance at all!, every site that is open to the public is open , open means open, as long as people are engaged in activities that are lawful there are no restrictions. The fact that you are so willing to explain what you are doing to these people is very good and considerate of you but the fact that they do not understand the law is sad and unacceptable.
