Unfortunately, due to the company he kept, he lost his life. He was a victim of her actions but at the same time why hang out with someone you know that does that stuff. Also, at no point did he try to turn that car off, put it in neutral, or knock her the hell out. Police told investigators they could hear the passenger telling the driver to “go.” That is when the driver took off again, ran over one officer and six police officers brought the chase to an end. Investigators found a .22 caliber rifle and crack cocaine in the couple’s car. Officers later learned that the suspects’ vehicle was taken from a 72-year-old woman in a carjacking on Dec. 16, 2018, in South Carolina. The two suspects were also being investigated in South Carolina for unrelated criminal offenses at a liquor store and a jewelry store. Both suspects were wanted for shoplifting in South Carolina at the time of the incident.

@ I can understand why they wouldn't want to believe their family members and close friends would be capable of this stuff. It's natural to not want to believe this stuff at first unless you witness it first-hand. Looking at social media pictures of these two isn't the same as looking at Sean Reed's social media pictures, so it makes sense to not believe this shit happened, and you want to. The media never presents these situations well and unbiased, and usually frames it as either hardcore bootlicking, or "He DiDnT dO nUtHiN wRoNg". That being said, if the families continues to deny the truth even after seeing this type of evidence, then the families are living in their own reality. ETA: not defending these two, they signed their own death sentences after running over that cop; just trying to understand the complexities of grief as much as we try to understand the base instincts of police training. I hope the families can find some sort of peace after this crappy situation.

This is my problem with how these situations, as insanely difficult as they are in the moment, get handled. It seemed entirely justified for the officers to begin shooting much earlier, as the tires were facing officers multiple times before that, yet they held their fire for too long IMO. But then there was the truck video of that idiot and his dad and dog where the driver got 2 shots in the arm and the dog died, when he absolutely didn't put the officers in any of the same danger as in this video. These fine details of when officers can use deadly force need to be hammered down much better in the PDs. They either shoot too early or too late.

I think he will be. Thank god she "only" ran over his legs. Sad part is, he might not be able to walk properly for the rest of his life, depending on how bad the fractures are.

What about the passenger, he was just there
@thebunnman42185 жыл бұрын
Hell naw low key wish they got away. Screw the driver but the passenger was innocent. He had no gun on him, the driver did, he didnt run, the driver did, he put his hands up, the driver didnt, his life was taken cause of his friend and the trigger happy cops. Facts

Not sure where people heard he's okay... he needs multiple corrective surgeries and doctors don't know if he'll ever walk again. He'll be on restricted duty for the rest of his career, if he's even able to do that.

“They was traveling, taking trips, just enjoying life,” says the sister as the family seeks a settlement. Meanwhile in the real world they had carjacked this car from a 72 year old at gun point, had a loaded pistol in the car, cocaine and were wanted on warrants for shoplifting, robberies and other charges, not to mention a high speed chase, 8 damaged vehicles, and running over a police officer point blank. Smh I’m glad the police officers were cleared of any wrongdoing

@@SlenderMaam The driver shouldn't have run from the cops, and when she was cornered, she didn't go for the 8-10 years in jail for felony Evading, But went on the attempted murder route and got herself and her friend ( Who was just caught in the crossfire ) killed. NO blame and a job well done for the officers. And a Quick recovery for the Officer ran over.

This is the worst pursuit I have ever seen. The officer at one point swerved to avoid hitting the cop car in front of him. The following distance should be worked on in this department. Also I don’t know whose these people are, but doing a pit on these side streets is highly unsafe, they had a opportunity on the busy 2-4 lane hwy’s for several minutes and decide to do it on a narrow (practically 1 way) road...? Barreling through intersections (night or day; sirens or not) you should at least check intersections and slow down a little..
