Drunk driver receives the Arkansas PIT Maneuver by State Police - Mom arrives & causes trouble

Trooper's Report: On 09/01/2024 at approximately 8:10 P.M, I initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle bearing LPN AXH71E. The driver was later identified as CHRISTOPHER JARMAR TUCKER for driving left of center, inattentive driving, and improper turn signal. V1 stopped for a moment and then drove away from the traffic stop. I advised dispatch that I was in pursuit. I performed a successful TVI on V1 near mile marker 129. I took the driver of V1 into custody. Tucker had a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his person, bloodshot shot water eyes, and slurred speech. Inside V1, there were two boxes of alcohol-containing alcoholic beverages, one box was located in the rear seat of V1, and the other box was located in the truck along with an open container of liquor. OCA 202416440ASP was issued. Minor damage was sustained to ASP unit as a result of this incident. Tucker was transported to Baptist Health Hospital to be cleared before being transported to Pulaski County Detention Center. Shortly after this incident occurred another vehicle pulled onto the scene and parked in front of V1. CHERYL CHANTA TUCKER (driver) and a female juvenile stepped out of the vehicle. I advised both of them several times to return to their vehicle. I let them know they could wait at the next exit off the road. Cheryl Tucker refused to obey commands, and after several attempts to talk to Cheryl Tucker, I told her to put her hands behind her back. Cheryl Tucker pushed away from me, moved her hands to her chest, tried to walk away from me, and refused to put her hands behind her back. Tucker and the passenger were placed in custody for obstructing governmental operations and resisting arrest.

If you’d like to make your own determination on why Mr. Chris Tucker ran from Trooper Paraga, below is a list of singular charges he’s picked up in the last ten years (not counting the charges seen in this video): - assault - 3rd degree - family or household member - careless and prohibited driving (2x) - contempt of court (7x) - disorderly conduct - domestic battery - 3rd degree - driving on suspended license (2x) - driving while intoxicated - DWI 1st - failure to appear on class A misdemeanor (5x) - failure to appear on class B misdemeanor - failure to appear on class C misdemeanor (2x) - failure to appear on violation (FTA) - leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage only - refusal to submit to chemical test - resisting arrest - revocation Most notably, Mr. Tucker was brought to court on child support charges in 2015 but failed to respond. This resulted in some of the numerous contempt of court charges. He also picked up four of these charges during a traffic stop on 11/7/21 in which he was pulled over for driving recklessly, failed to give a breath sample, and resisted arrest. I’m going to assume he wasn’t on the way to his next movie. BONUS: Cheryl Tucker has a couple excessive speeding and driving on a suspended license on her history...including a harassment charge back in 2021. Like mother, like son - I suppose.

The reason the Sergeant had him stop the recording at the end was to create a distinct file that will be of the pursuit and arrest. This saves that file. The camera records constantly as he drives, recording over older files all the time, unless those files have been saved, and the Trooper was saving that file by stopping the recording.
