Hi Sir, I believe many A2 students will find it useful if you make an A2 video for this topic, with explicit mentioning of Expenditure switching and reducing policies and also also relating it to the crowding out and crowding in theories. I kindly ask you for this, as your videos are amazing. Thank you for your time Sir.

hi, your videos are great, is there anyway you could do some videos where you go through an AQA multiple choice question paper and explain each answer?

But wouldn't a contractionary monetary policy strengthen the Pound making Imports cheaper, so more people would spend money on imports. which is counter productive...

Whilst talking about protectionist measures, you mentioned how the government could place additional taxes on imports. However, you also talked about retaliation from foreign economies as a negative effect. Although this is a macro paper, could we begin to talk about government failure?

Hi, I want to ask that the CA is deficit. If we use contractionary policy which would lower AD, will it make CA worse. Should it be an expansionary policy???
@arumann93462 жыл бұрын
by decreasing ad overall consumption would decrease and so demand for imports and foreign goods would decrease theoretically so it should be contractionary policy as expansionary would make the situation worse coz ad would increase and so the opposite would occur. however there are the obv draw backs to this coz ur gonna make the other objectives worse off.

The money supply point doesn't make sense vikstar...
@arumann93462 жыл бұрын
decreasing money supply would increase interest rates which is contractionary monetary policy
@arumann93462 жыл бұрын
lower money supply so banks less willing to loan out so rates go up to deter ppl who cant afford to pay back and who could default
