you made a huge mistake. The expected payoff of choosing boxing for man is 2q+(1-q)0=2q, that of choosing shopping is q(0)+(1-q)1=1-q So, q=1/3 and r=2/3. Since if a man already chooses the boxing his payoff depends on the probability of woman's choice.

The probability calculazations are not correct; Please, fix this. Thanks

Is the expected payoff calculated by adding or subtracting the values?

If I understood it correctly, expected payoff = result of dominant strategy.

i can't understand if you need to multiply expected payoff by probability in man's shopping, then how comes 0 * r-1 equals to r*1 and not 0
@babitamehta38984 жыл бұрын
1*r-1 that's when he goes shopping because he doesn't prefer going to boxing match alone.
