PBR (Policy Based Route) is a feature that functions to map paths. We can map based on the origin IP address, and destination IP, we can also make it even more specific based on the connection (port and protocol). Usually used if we have more than 1 link to the provider to make it more efficient.
Its main purpose is to segregate certain services, services, or networks to use different ISP lines. And the mapping of this path can be adjusted to the conditions in the field.
In the previous video, we discussed PBR Failover with ECMP which can solve problems that occur on the modem side or connection to the modem. However, if the problem occurs on the ISP side, Failover cannot run effectively. As a solution, we can use Failover with Netwatch. With this Netwatch we can monitor an IP on the internet, for example, 8.8.8.8 as a reference to whether the connection can run normally or not.
