Policy Issues of the 2024 Election, Part 1

All wonderful, well-meaning folks. However, as much of our punditry, academia and the media would like, the 2024 Election is NOT a "typical" policy election. This election is an unambiguous choice between the broad, and growing pro-democracy coalition and the narrow, reactionary, pro-fascist interests in the United States. In our current political environment and at this particular inflection point in our history, this albeit well-intentioned conversation simply amounts to counting angels on the head of a pin. We all need to recognize MAGA and the disgraced ex-president as the real threats they are to our democratic institutions, traditions and way of life. We all need to focus our energies and time on publicly standing against these threats before they create even more chaos and harm even more innocent American lives.
