I publish new videos Sundays at 12.00 pm British time (either every Sunday or every other Sunday)
Welcome to the last video of the “Southern Italy solo trip” series!
In this episode we’re visiting Polignano a Mare, a pretty town in the southern region of Puglia (translated as "Apulia", in English).
I got the train to go from Monopoli (where my b&b was) to Polignano.
I spent my last evening on holiday in Monopoli, where I had a typical "panzerotto" for dinner, and I spent the last morning on a beautiful sandy beach with transparent water, which I reached after a 10/15 minute walk from Monopoli town centre.

I agree. Polignano is way too busy. Monopoli is lovely, and isn't so touristy. Thank you for reminding me how much I miss Puglia. 😀

Another wonderful video, beautifully filmed and very informative as usual. Polignano looks a lovely place despite the tourists. My bucket list is growing virtually every week now, thanks to your trips and and your wonderful videos.

Thank you very much for saying this! Yes, Polignano was crowded, but I’m still happy that I visited! It was definitely worth it, as that beach is quite unique 🤗

If you sometime will come to Montenegro, I will be interested to know your opinion about this country. I have been there several times. I really like the silence at one little-known town. The main thing is not to go to Budva :) There are a lot of tourists there in summer :)

A few years ago I lived in Greece for 3 months (1 in Athens and 2 in Corfú) and while there I had a half idea of visiting Albania and Montenegro, but then I never got round to it… 🥲 A friend of mine went there with her campervan this summer and sent me photos of amazing beaches… Thanks for the tip! I should really stop going places in July/August but I’m always desperate to escape the Scottish summer … 😅😂

Thanks for watching and commenting! Yes, Polignano was too crowded… but it wasn’t surprising, it was July after all 🥵
