GOD BLESS YOU. I am a CHILD of the Polio epidemic Era. Several of my friends were stricken with Polio. I don't remember anyone needing an Iron Lung machine, but then again I was still in Grade School. Several were paralyzed to varying degrees and required medical Equipment to Assist them.

I'd say Covid 19 and the flu are not nearly as bad as those other things. It spreading like wild fire is kinda were it ends. Far more people died from polio, black death, Spanish flu etc. The flu is so common and such a non issue these days.
