Polish FP-5 Filter Test, Works with a GP-5!

Testing the Polish FP-5 filters made by MASKPOL, basically a CBRN filter in a standardised 40mm thread that fits both NATO and GOST masks, meaning yes you can use this filter and it works with a GP-5! Amazing.
After the fall of Communism, Poland wanted to adopt a new 40mm NATO mask, the issue being all of their old masks from the Warsaw Pact era took 40mm GOST filters, so MASKPOL came up with a normalised/standardised filter. These filters are known as RD40x1/7" Meaning they are the standard RD40/NATO STANAG 40mm filter but with a 1/7" thread twist/thickness that works with GOST filter intake screws.
Prior to using this FP-5 filter I had used MASKPOL's earlier AB2E1P3 filter that had a similar normalised thread.

Now i can actually use my GP-5 properly! Before this vid i just used it to clean very dirty/dusty surfaces to avoid coughing. I also used it to dispose of rotten things that stink or look extremly disgusting, like dead rats because the goggles minimize my fov and minder the stink lol.

Against particles they will be fine, they are still P3, but those filters are only ABE if I recall, so they don't block ammonia efficiently.

Well filters don't fit filters (for the most part) If you mean the Czech filters have that thread then yes they should fit both GOST and NATO masks.

I brought a p-5 filter for my shalon 4a1 mask. Seller said that I can get either a fp5 or p-5 filter and they are the same but we know how trustworthy are sellers. Mine was made in 1995 by Maskpol and sealed looks exactly like fp5 except the name. Logic says that it should be asbestos free but quick search does not yield too much info. Do you know if it's asbestos free?

Poland stopped using asbestos at the time of independence. As the filters were made then by private companies not state run factories etc. MASKPOL filters are all paper HEPAs

The talcum powder is virtually harmless. Actually sometimes used in treating lung issues.
