Thanks for this specific point that is sanding/buffing the scratch resistant clears. The first times I used them, I thought I became crazy (or older for this kind of job). Then I understood the clear coat was probably playing with me. Very useful and rare video! I will try to go up to the 8000. Another point I noticed with the SR clear coat: let it cure and dry before working on it. It is working a long time, and works again by reacting to your sanding or buffing. Cheers from France. 👍

Yeah it’s amazing how far battery powered tools have come , I too was a bit skeptic so when I wanted to get an electric impact driver but I ended getting a dewalt, and now there isn’t a bolt that I can’t undo with ease,. If I’m able to buy a polisher it’s definitely going to be battery powered

Great vid, i use Mirka battery polisher, even smaller and it's great, although i bought it for ~800 euros when released so it still might be expensive as hell. However if you're polishing lots of details i really recommend. Amount of time saved is really worth it!

Is it possible to get a cheap mini spray gun with fan spray control that can be run on an airbrush compressor? I know Iwata LPH80 can be used, but I am looking for something dirt cheap? I will be using it for scale models. I just want something that can lay down clear coats evenly, which is hard to do with the small spray pattern from an airbrush.
